My brother was feed through a feed tube as he couldnt swallow. His facial nerve was damaged as a result of an illness and it went down and damaged his ability to swallow. The tube was put in and he recovered and now can at least eat normally after a long long recovery periode. The Drs said he would have to feed himself that way for the rest of his life as they said his ability to swallow will never come back. It did and he can and the rest is history. His face droops a little on one side yet but he lives in comfort and is ALIVE.
This woman has a chance. All they gotta do is let her have that chance.

A chance at what, exactly? Her cerebrum is literally atrophied away and the resulting hole in the brain has filled with cranial fluid. This information, obtained from EEGs among other things, is entered into sworn testimony in multiple Floridan courts by court-appointed neurologists. So what do you suggest a woman lacking a cerebrum has a chance of, if only she gets it? To someday be able to reflexively swallow on her own?
