There are articles from years ago where physicians have suggested that PVS patients would be better for medical experiments than chimps. And some say that even those who are severely disabled, but not PVS, should want to choose "treatment", ie death by dehydration. Don't think this is the end of the work they have in store for us.
I can supply links if you like...just ask.

Furthermore, Judge Greer accepted the opinion of doctors who said Ms. Schiavo, 41, is in a "persistent vegetative state," the definition of which, according to the New York Times, is "damage to her cerebral cortex [that] has made her incapable of emotion, memory or thought."
So What??!!
Is that a reason to starve this woman to death?!!!

You've got it. They're already making suggestions like these, and more, in the medical journals. One is that those who are not yet dead can donate organs while they are still alive, for instance.

That's just the dehumanization of her in order to condition us to her killing.
Just like a fetus is nothing but a bunch of cells, you know.

Please forgive the previous tag-line; it was used as a joke in another thread.

How the United States could today devalue the life of the infirm by removing a brain-damaged woman's feeding tube, and unwittingly ally itself with the euthanasia program of the history's foremost monster, should send shivers down the spine of every American. It does send shivers down my spine! Go, Keyes!!

Funny how JimRob is strangely silent on all of these weeping "terri" threads, no?He doesn't post on the Creationism/Evolution threads either, does he? Or the pro-drug/anti-drug legalization threads. Do you think that it's wise to make assumptions about his positions on either of those issues based on the fact that he is "strangely silent" on those threads?

Exactly - never trust those willing to kill.

"Why do the democrats want to kill her?"
Because democrats are complete scum. Sounds harsh but it seems that everyday they do something that reaffirms my belief that they are truely despicable people.

"Honestly, when government officials and indeed whole institutions have sunk so low as to murder citizens, its likely blood will (eventually) be spilled to stop them. I hope its not inevitable, but I think my lifetime will see another civil war."
I have a really bad feeling that you are right. This country and it's continued pandering to liberal fucktards is starting to make me sick.

so is John McCain. RINO
The difference here is that you won't find many conservative republicans who approve of the actions of so-called republicans like this. Yet talk to most liberals about democrat judges or politicians and you will find that the more and more insane their policies become, the more they are cheered on.

He must be removed as Terri's "guardian/husband". By his actions he is neither.

And even if Terri Schiavo expressly wanted to die, does that mean we should kill her? Dr. Kevorkian is sitting in prison for the rest of his life precisely because he killed people who wished to die. How is this different? Good point!

Funny how JimRob is strangely silent on all of these weeping "terri" threads, no? No. You need to ask him about the wife he loves very much. Fortunately, JimRob isn't Michael Schiavo.

It's not polite to talk about someone without pinging them.I agree with you, but I was reluctant to do it myself since I wasn't the one who had started the conversation about him.

I know but I figured I would ping you since the statement was made to you.
I hesitated myself, but I think it's nice to know who's saying what about you :)

You're right. And to tell you the truth, I'm glad you did it. I don't think that anyone should make assumptions about someone else's beliefs and your ping to JR gives him an opportunity to address it himself if he'd like to.
