Christian Coalition Urges Senate/House Leadership to Pass 'Terri Schiavo's Law' on Monday
U. S. NewswWire ^ | 3/18/05 | Michele Combs

Time is of the essence. Terri Schiavo's husband, Michael Schiavo removed Terri's feeding tube today. This act will cause Terri Schiavo to suffer an extremely painful death over a 2-week period. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's office said congressional lawyers will appeal to the Florida Circuit Court of Appeals to reinstate the feeding tubes of Terri Schiavo.

Here are the Action Items that need to be accomplished immediately:

1. Christian Coalition activists need to call Speaker Dennis Hastert (202-225-0600) and Senator Majority Leader Bill Frist (202-224-3135) to urge them to schedule a vote on Monday and pass the "Terri Schiavo Law" by unanimous consent on Monday in order to save Terri Schiavo's life.

2. Call your Member of the House and both Senators to urge them to ask their congressional leaders to schedule a vote on the "Terri Schiavo Law" on Monday (202-225-3121).

Please keep the above issue in your prayers. Through prayer great and mighty things can be accomplished.

After hearing Michael Schiavo's attorney, Felos at a live news conference I made between 13-15 calls. Don't give up.

Defeat this useless legislation that will empower the low-grade retards in congress with the power of life and death.

I thought we wanted less government intrusion?

The proposed legislation would only give them "the power of life", after the sentence of death has been administered.

"Retards." So, you think the mentally retarded are unworthy of life. It's obvious you don't hold them in high regard. Pity anyone with Down's syndrome coming across your path. Or anyone who is not as smart as you think you are. Just another retard.

low-grade retards

She suffers brain damage, but is certainly conscious of all around her, and now will be of the 'system' denying her food and water. She hasn't been represented as simply 'retarded'. She's been represented as being uncommunicative and comatose, a 'mental vegetable'. You know, it's funny that the 'special olympics' folk are so silent on THIS matter. Are they all a bunch of hypocrites, too?

You throw the word "murder" around a bit willy-nilly don't you?

Of course, if the Judge saw it your way, you would be hailing him as a hero of life.

To intentionally deprive a person of the necessities of Life is Murder is it not?

To prohibit someone from feeding a human being who cannot feed themselves is murder is it not?

They would throw you in jail for doing the same thing to your dog, cat or pet rat would they not?

If the Judge used his head for something besides a convenient device to hold his ears apart I would be a bit less inclined to be critical of him. But that Thug in a black robe belongs behind bars, not sitting behind a bench.

If you don't like me calling it murder that is your problem. But I defy you to call it something else and provide legal precedence for it.

The Senate should pass the more comprehensive Bill (protects others besides Terri) the HOUSE passed. The Senate's BILL will probably be rejected by the Supreme court the Way the Florida Supreme Court rejected Florida's Terri's LAW!!!!!!
