Absolutely. He has the right to publish the paper, but not necessarily the right to distribute it on campus. There is a difference, you see.

The skinheads at that school have the right to publish a racist newspaper, too. It's the same right.

The school can, and must, control the distribution of publications on campus. They can't stop anyone from publishing whatever they wish. They can stop anyone from distributing that publication.

As for your admonition to me, I'll take it under advisement.

With all due respect, MineralMan (by the way, I too am a godless atheist) I just don't see the logic behind the idea that schools become intellectually strengthened places when you take away attempts at independent thought. Will people be learning less math because of a paper? I don't think so - I think they'll be thinking about politics more because of a conservative paper.
