It should not overcome anyone position on homosexual cohabitation, that is exactly why they want to adopt. It's a selfish means to an end, that end being all inclusive normalcy.
We already see the flagrant homosexual story lines on TV, the openly homosexual shows, and the blatantly rude advertisements for these shows, every time you turn on your TV. It will only get worse. Ad's are coming for condoms, during the day and early evening, ad's concerning homosexual relationships, etc etc etc. (consequently most of us feel so offended, we rarely watch television at all anymore)
Make no mistake, adoption is only a goal for using the children to selfishly get what they want.

Does anyone remember that report that came out a couple weeks ago where it said 34% of children in gay households were sexually abused?

"would totally mess kids up allowing same sexes to adopt children."
Would and in fact does. Many states already allow it. The statistics for sexual abuse are elevated from all other circumstances children live in, and problems later in life dwarf even single parenting.

"Adoption should be about discriminating between good and bad parents. Openly immoral adults do not make good parents, especially when their immorality is also so abnormal and perverse."
You forgot unhealthy, and even deadly.

I certainly do!
Read the article from the catholic Church too, and will no longer refer to gays with the term marriage again, after reading that article. It made so much sense!

"It was the right way to go," she said. "Banning gays and lesbians from adoption is really doing a disservice to the children in state custody and it's also discriminatory." LOL -she meant doing a disservice to the selfish homosexual perverts that have no problem at a minimum psychologically abusing children to pursue their own sick joke of self-fulfillment.

Yes it is pbrown, I wish there was ore we could do! My son is grown, but with the world the way it is, I worry for the nations future, I really do. Where is this nation going to find leaders with character, integrity, values, a sense of right and wrong, with the world being so messed up and messing up all the kids!

It makes me worry about our children and grandchildrens future with PC being the catch phrase. No matter it hurts the children, as long as gays can foster and adopt innocent children. Musn't step on their rights since their victims can't vote.

So the idea of marriage is not important to the health of our kids? The importance of a mother and father is not important to the upbringing of our kids? What's right and what's wrong no longer matters in the upbringing of our kids?
Why not let a couple of pedophiles get together and adopt kids now? How will you know any different now anyway? This is a tragedy, more states should be trying to stop this sanctioned abuse of our kids. Damn the O'reilly type do-gooders of the world!

Teri Sogo, a social worker with Jewish Family Service in Nashville, disagreed with Vaughn, and said she's pleased with the outcome. 10 to 1 odds that she practices lesbian behavior
