Looks to me as if it may be the ghost of the first female NFL official. I think she is signaling "time out".

I've always believed but have never had any experiences. Then we were stationed in England, we rented a 700 year old house. I won't say there was a ghost but there was something very unusual going one there.
I did experience a ghost in an antique shop in Ely.

Ghost ping.
Looks to me like a purple belt Karate student. Why would he be practicing his kata in the steeple?

"Its an obvious derivation of an existing term, since gob, originally from Scotland and the north of England, has been a dialect and slang term for the mouth for four hundred years (often in insulting phrases like shut your gob! to tell somebody to be quiet). It possibly goes back to the Scottish Gaelic word meaning a beak or a mouth, which has also bequeathed us the verb to gob, meaning to spit. Another form of the word is gab, from which we get gift of the gab."

Interesting, but the photo was DIGITAL so very easily subject to manipulation on a computer. A photo taken on film with a negative to examine is better evidence of whatever it was.

Is there a pic to go with this article?

I really enjoy this stuff but, at the risk of destroying the illusion, if you turn this photo sideways, you might see something that looks a lot like a bird...which was what they were trying to photograph. Just a possibility, mind you. :-)

You're right! Tilt your head about 45 degrees to the left and you see a bird flying in front of the spire. Pretty cool!
