This would benefit consumers because we could then create money at the point of sale (same as we're doing now with credit cards) without digging ourselves into debt.

I don't get it. If it's payroll-related, we are due the money anyways. So I'm still not seeing a benefit. Splain?

And thereby eliminate the banking class middle-men who merely re-market reserve cash and collect a premium on the 97% of the money that they never had a deposit of in the first place. Now the depositor gets access to that money without having to pay the middle man premium.

Pssst. Don't tell the bankers. This will cause rioting in the streets by them if they end up actually having to work for a living.
