I spoke with Tom Lipscomb a short time ago. Tom did great reporting for the New York Sun about John Kerry's phony war record and the plot in Kansas City.
He has been nominated for a Pulitzer for his reporting, but is not hold his breath. He knows they will never award it to him because of the subject of the reports.
Tom is named in a song on the new parody CD, YOU'BE BEEN FREEPED, Vol. 1. We did a version of BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS by Johnny Horton that became the BATTLE OF KANSAS CITY.
Our kudos to Tom for great investigative reporting about John Kerry. It is likely that he helped make a difference in the campaign, although he would say that's not his job. He just did honest reporting. It was up to others to do what they wished with the reports and information. Honest journalism, not advocacy.
te-RAY-za will spend her savings to keep this fellow from receiving the Pulitzer.
Its a big honor just to be a Pulitzer Prize finalist, congratulations to Mr. Lipscomb.
k-k-k-Kerry and the vets
Voters, come and pay attention
The "T" word he hopes you'll never mention
Traitors are men who stab comrades in the back
He told lies to Congress...for friends, didn't give a damn
Now his sordid past has caught up with him
Men get ready for war
The battle will be Kerry and the Vets
They faced bullets...now they face his band of legal whores
Despite the mainstream press, he's in a mess
This time the truth will surely preva-a-ail
This fight's Kerry and Vets
He built his whole reputation...based on lies
He fooled some of this nation
Traitors are men who stab comrades in the back
He told lies to Congress...for friends, didn't give a damn
Now his sordid past has caught up with him
Men get ready for war
The battle will be Kerry and the Vets
They faced bullets...now they face his band of legal whores
Despite the mainstream press, he's in a mess
This time the truth guys will surely preva-a-ail
This fight's Kerry and Vets
(musical break)
His sordid past has caught up with him
Men get ready for war
The battle will be Kerry and the Vets
They faced bullets...now they face his band of legal whores
Despite the mainstream press, he's in a mess
This time the truth will surely preva-a-ail
This fight's Kerry and Vets
Kerry...Kerry and the Vets
Kerry...Kerry....lying John Forbes Kerry and the Vets
Kerry...Kerry....lying John Forbes Kerry...Kerry and a group of tough Vets
Tom Lipscomb did some tremendous reporting last year. I haven't been able to find all his articles listed in one place, but this is a start...
You should be getting one!
Good news. Even being nominated is a great coup.

Thanks for the ping.
I am surprised, because I thought truth-tellers were automatically excluded from nomination for the Pulitzer Prize.
TOM LIPSCOMB nominated for Pulitzer for his reporting on John Kerry!
Now can anyone name 1 so called MAIN Stream Right Wing Media personality
(we know Russert on tv and Imus on radio from the Left have)
that has asked,
in 2005,
these questions?
"Asked Kerry when he will sign Form 180.
(Even though President Bush signed his Form 180)
Or how could Kerry have a top secret clearance,
and access to US intelligence
WITHOUT revealing ALL his military records to the US Senate
Who in the US Senate has seen ALL of Kerry's military records?
Who, in the US Senate, gave him his top secret clearance?
Or why Kerry is still in the US Senate.
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.amendmentxiv.html
Or when Kerry will set the record straight
on his false testimony in April 71"
I'll second that!
Thanks for the ping!
Good reporter.
Congrats to him. As they say in Hollywood, he should be happy just to be nominated! Even if he's got a snowball's chance to get it because of the subject matter, he'll always be able to be described as a "Pulitzer Prize nominated journalist".
BTTT!!!!
BTTT!!!!!!
anyone else nominated from the US?
because Claudia Rosett, of the Wall Street Journal, I believe, should also be nominated, she is the one that broke the story stateside and wouldn't leave the Oil for Food scam alone, she wrote on it practically every day, I'm surprised Koffi didn't have a contract out on her......she deserves a Pulitzer too......
oh and is there a humour category, Mark Steyn #1!
I remember his articles.
I approve of this nomination!
