In what way, exactly, is the Ulster Unionist Party "just as bad as the IRA"?

Do they have a private army: no. Do they control heroin sales: no. Are they Marxists: no. Do they help the FARC: no. Do they carry out punishment beatings and knee cappings: no.

It may be that you are mixing up the Ulster Unionst Party with unrelated protestant terror groups like the UDA or the UVF, if not then Im afraid youve listened to far to much Sinn Fein/IRA propaganda

I wonder if you will get a response to your previous post?

It is a coward's way out to just say "they are all bad".

Some no doubt said that during the Cold War. Problem is that there was only one Evil Empire and it wasn't the U.S.

While condemning the UDA/UVF, it is good to point out that the UUP and DUP are NOT the equivalent of Sinn Fein/IRA.

The Sinn Fein has always held itself apart from the IRA, in theory at least. One is the politicians, the other is the gunmen.

I think much the same is true of the Ulster Unionists.
