I haven't heard much from the pro-IRA crowd on FR lately. I even pinged them to one thread, but they didn't bother to respond. They seem to be trying to keep a low profile.

Permit me to doubt it. The Ulster Unionists are just as bad as the IRA, if not worse. The reputation of the IRA may have been seriously damaged among Northern Ireland's Catholics, but these Catholics are hardly going to turn to the Protestant extremists for support. Nor would they be welcomed if they did.
