Can you see it from where you are, shotokan?
Bush's fault. (I HAD to say that)
Nice pictures. Are these from today?
I'm going to be even more lame and caption this -
What do you mean I can't smoke out here?
DO NOT GO IN THERE, PEEEYEW!
No, but if Mt Rainier pops I'm screwed.
Awesome pics.
They were taken after the volcano started clearing its throat at 5:30 today.
As for your caption, I don't know if there are ashtrays in Helen's size...
OK, is this a smoking area? Can I light up here cause I really need to smoke!
Smoke em if you got em.
SUV's can't hold a candle to this!
"This is what happens when Ted Kennedy has too much beer"
If I was as big as Helen, I wouldn't even care. In 1989 she spread ashes all around the globe!
Now we'll have hysterical op-eds in the New York Times criticizing America because our volcano is violating the Kyoto treaty.
I've got your global warming right here.
It was from atop the mountain that Robert Byrd started his filibuster.
..and in related news, Mt St Helens belched out a box of additional, yet uncounted, votes for Chris Gregoire.
He got the nuclear option all right!
Gregoire has announced that in her first act as governor, she will see that Mount Saint Helens will be fined a minimum of $300 million for its unrestrained pollution. Recent data has shown the mountain to be the largest polluter in the state, dwarfing the emissions of various factories by comparison.
In related news, the ACLU has filed suit against the state of Washington for its use of religious terminology in naming the mountain. ACLU spokesperson Josef D. O'cletian has stated the ACLU's case as follows: "The use of the term 'Saint' is an unfair government imposition of religion. We suggest a fair non-religious name such as Mount Huxley." The ACLU has filed additional lawsuits concerning St Louis, St. Paul, San Diego, San Antonio, Santa Fe, Los Angeles, Corpus Cristi, Maryland, and Florida.
"Dang, I gotta get my muffler fixed."
"Now this is how you fire up a grill."
"Don't worry, folks-Michael Moore lets off more toxic fumes than I do each time he eats a pile of burritos."
