Don't only poofers buy playgirl? Maybe Jeff Gannon can fill us in.Maybe, but a dirty little secret of American politics is that homosexuals aren't a monolithic Dem group. As a group, gays are more likely to vote GOP than Jews, blacks, and Hispanics. From what I've heard, the figure is about 40-45% or so.
It's not suprising why -- the typical gay male is a Schwartzenegger Republican. Their per capita incomes are high, so they hate taxes. They care a lot more about the government taking thousands out of their wallet than they do about rather non-issues like gay marriage (especially because they can acquire almost all the benefits of marriage through contract and market choice -- contracting inheritance, living wills, choosing gay-friendly employers and hospitals etc.)

I was GREATLY relieved when I saw pictures of her. Somehow she was not what I conjured up in my mind when the title "Playgirl" came across the screen.

Yes I know that many gays are republicans. I have gay friends. But they are such a small overall % of the population that I'll be damned if we will let them change the marriage laws, just to keep them content in the GOP. A guy like Andrew Sullivan, smart and pro-american (even tho he's a brit, I think) could not get himself to vote for GWB because of the gay marriage issue. Then I say go join the dems if he thinks that is more important than winning the war against islamo-facists.

Do you know how to tell the best man at a nudist wedding?
He's the one carrying a dozen donuts and two cups of coffee.
