> parents are responsible to God, not to society or educators, for the formation of their children's hearts and minds

Ummm... so... if parents raise their little darlings to be psycho killers, society has nothing to say to the parents?

I cannot believe what America has come to. Our children are being taught there are no moral absolutes and we're shocked there is so much cheating in schools today. They are being bombarded daily through music, TV, movies, media that it's fine to have sex under any condition and with anybody at any time and we're shocked by teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted disease, not to mention all the emotional problems associated with sex out of wedlock. Then when someone such as Dr. Dobson takes a stand, he is ridiculed for it. We are losing the culture war in this country and a big part is due to the public schools. My youngest graduates from public school this May. If I were just starting to have kids of school age, I would not send them to public schools.

The liberal way is to lie to achieve their goals.

I enjoy listening to James Dobson. He makes a lot of common sense like Dr. Laura that seems to be missing in our world today.

Jim Dobson is one of the few leaders in American public life these days who doesn't swerve, doesn't waver, and doesn't compromise his faith on the altar of political expediency.

God bless him...

snip--Apparently that kind of character assassination coupled with disgraceful, if not libelous, falsification of the facts represents liberalism's treasured standard for intellectual debate, forward-looking dialogue, openness to other worldviews and compassionate agape (unconditional) love.

Just so they don't use sarcasm cause that really hurts my feelings.

March 11 during the proposed We Are Family Day

The Libs are active - designating certains days for their pro-deviance agenda. What are the Conservatives doing that is both active* and pro-active? Anything? The problem is that the Conservatives don't seem to have an agenda - while the Libs have nothing but an agenda. This is a big-enough Conservative forum - why don't we set the agenda?

*Yes, I know some FReepers are involved in freeping & rallies & protests - which is great. But the Libs are doing the same - and more. They're designating days. They're setting the agenda. Why aren't we doing that? Why are we letting the Libs set the agenda for the entire country? As a result of our not doing enough, the whole country is slowly turning liberal.

You've got to understand that these people live, think & breathe activist liberalism every second of the day. They're not sitting around bemoaning the slide into liberalism. They're actively creating liberal agendas and policies. We need to do the same with conservative agendas and policies. Anyone?

Dobson's a nice guy, but he can be wrong occasionally.

Like years ago, telling parents to spank year-old toddlers.

But he can take whatever the left dishes out. BTW, I love SpongeBob.
