I posted this in response to people who claim that we have "open borders" and that President Bush is doing nothing to enforce our immigration laws, or that our soverienty no longer exist, and dozens of more hysterical statements by people wanting to reduce the number of undocumented laborers in the U.S. This is just CBP and doesn't include the Immigration And Customs Enforcement agency or any of the other department within and out of the Homeland Security Department. Nor does it include our troops in Afganistan and Iraq who are the primary forces protecting us from terrorists attacks.

I recommend asbestos.

That being said, there are a LOT more people and things getting thru. I'm sure someone will spout some numbers..

They are only able to catch x% of illegal people and things. Hey, with what they're given, the BP does a helluva job.

We need to give them more - so they can do a better job. JMHO
