That's why I never wanted to be a CFI. Too many students are trying to kill you.
I'll check with my contacts with the FAA and try to get a Cause as soon as possible.

"Huh.... I wonder what happened." My first guess is jet fuel was used to fill the tanks. If that did happen you would have just enough of the correct fuel to get airborne before the engine quit. Not an expert, only a guess.
