Saddam Hussein's half-brother captured in Iraq
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A half-brother and former adviser to Saddam Hussein has been captured in Iraq, according to sources in the interim government.
Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hasan al-Tikriti was number 36 on the U.S. military's list of the 55 most wanted people in Iraq. No other details were provided. An official announcement would be made soon, the sources said on Saturday.
"Sabawi is captured, he's a big catch," one official in the government said.
BUMP!
YAHOO BTTT!!
Right Fing on. Not Zarcaca but this is a big piggy. Keep them coming .
alcaca zarqawi's days are numbered. He's nothing... just a thug murdering iraqi people everyday now
Oh so Saddam didn't get him killed.
BTTT!
And his glory days of that seem to be in the past.
Now zarcaca and Al duira (sp)
Just saw Fox News break the story.... Excellent News!
Good work!!!
I FERVENTLY pray that it's soon .. Gen. Meyers says it is. From his lips to the ear of God. Maybe, with the beginnings of freedom, some smart Iraqi will actually realize what $10M (although I thought they raised it to $25M) US Dollars could do to improve his lifestyle.
The reward system functioned in the capture of Saddam. With Zarqawi's scores of murdered innocent victims, American and hundreds of Iraqi bystanders dead resulting from his orchestrated mass slaughters, most thinking Iraqis want this Islamic serial killer stopped now.
Pray it's real soon!
There was a $1M bounty on this guy.
Someone just won the lottery.
Iraq's See the DOD website for photos. Note their joker card has an Iraqi SURNAME explanation (Revised: 02/15am) |
