This piece would have been a lot more effective if the anti-semitism had been left out. One can't argue against hate-speech while engaging in it.

If Michael drugs Terri, or disturbs her sleep for several nights, she will seem unresponsive during examinations.

Nothing Daniel Ruth says would surprise me. I will NOT read his words (Tribune cancelled) and the radio is switched to OFF when he is on. The obscenities of the 'shock jocks' are preferable to Ruth.

Thanks, phenn, for challenging his, as usual, uninformed spewing. He needs his 'feeding tube' TO US removed.

OTOH:

John Grogan | Second thoughts on Terri Schiavo | 2/25/05
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1350930/posts

His column begins, "Sometimes even newspaper columnists change their minds.. . . "

WND 2/26: Philly columnist (John Grogan) changes mind on Terri Schiavo

A Philadelphia Inquirer columnist who believes in the "right to die" has changed his mind about the Terri Schiavo case, pointing to "uncomfortable details" about her estranged husband that now lead him to side with the parents of the brain-damaged Florida woman, who are fighting to keep her alive.

John Grogan said in a column published today, "I no longer so blithely believe Schiavo's feeding tubes should be pulled and her life allowed to end. I'm no longer so sure her parents do not deserve a say in their daughter's future. I no longer am totally comfortable assuming her husband, Michael, who now has two children by another woman, is acting unselfishly."

Michael Schiavo has been living with his fiance Jodi Centonze since 1995 and has said he will marry her upon the death of his wife.

Grogan said he hasn't changed his opinion that everyone has a right to "die with dignity," but he believes that in the Schiavo case, the "devil is in the details, uncomfortable details that raise sticky moral dilemmas."

Terri Schiavo suffered severe brain damage in 1990 after collapsing. Michael Schiavo attributes it to a chemical imbalance caused by an eating disorder, but parents Robert and Mary Schindler believe he may have tried to strangle her.

Michael Schiavo contends his wife told him she never would want to be kept alive artificially.

But Grogan points out Terri Schiavo's heart and lungs function on their own, and she requires only a feeding tube that might not be necessary if she were given physical therapy.

The columnist notes Michael Schiavo, as her legal guardian, has forbidden any therapy.

Whenever anyone doubts the doctrine of Hell, they should be introduced the writings and opinions of those like Herr Ruth. It will reinforce the justice of hell and the need for it.
Keep Terri and all who fight for her in your prayers.

Who’s the real hater? And who’s the real opponent of hatred? Jewry and the government, they of unclean hands, are in no position to lecture me about “hatred.”

Please tell me you didn't deliberately cut and paste from this evil neo-Nazi site and you didn't know what kind of site it was.

Definitely among the most evil things I have read in my life. The downside of the tremendous publicity and education of the world taking place, thanks to the Schindlers, is this disgusting kind of lottery-for-life mindset, and all the polls about whether or not a human being should live or die.

Who said the Romans were cruel at the amphitheatres?

Thanks Phenn. That guy is an a-hole par excellance. He would have made the Nazi SS proud.

The bright side of this drivel is that, unlike Terri, if the author is hit by a bus tomorrow he's left written proof supporting those who would let him die.

(If his middle name starts with an N the initials on all his consent forms would read "DNR"...)

I came across this site yesterday that explains how the Nazis instituted its war against the disabled and where it lead. It is a Flash presentation, so speakers on.

According to Judge Greer, and he presumes himself judge, executioner and God all rolled up into one, the guardian represents the disabled person and therefore the diabled person is not entitled to the right to pursue anything but death.

I keep hearing about 2002 bone scan. What about the current abuse. Terri is kept under conditions of sensory deprivation - Michael has to give explicit consent for her to listen to the radio. Michael will not allow her to be taken outside based on his perception of her right to privacy. Michael has left specific instruction that she not be allowed cards, gifts, letters, or any outside communication.
These are the same conditions our POW'S were kept in at the Hanoi Hilton. Michael is not better, he is worse and Judge Greer is permitting these abuses. No medical treatment is an abuse, just ask Senator McCain and a myriad of POW's whose bodies have recovered from the abuse meted out at the Hanoi Hilton but whose scars are still visible.
Judge Greer, Michael, and Felos are all abusers, not just of our constitutional rights, but of Terri's rights, and of the rights of people globally.

Wow, you phoned this guy's show, and you read him the law on care of invalids. Good for you. His response, as you recount it, was incredibly weak and illogical. This is good news for Terri's cause, because this Ruth guy, thanks to you and his inability to respond effectively, had to have lost a lot of credibility with honest listeners.

Savage says this is a battle over euthanasia. He is probably correct. The real players in the bigger game are working behind the scenery.

Not even if indeed it was Terri's wish never to be simply kept alive as the world's leading Larry King prop?

There is only one person I know of who claims Terry issued such a statement. Michael Schiavo.

That's because for every victory Felos may win in court on the legal merits of this tragic case, Jeb Bush, using the political wing of his organization - otherwise known as Florida state government - will continue to use his clout to subvert the judicial system

The legislative branch passes laws. They are acting properly.

Liberal activist judges introducing laws are not acting properly.

Legislative bodies impeaching said "justices" would be acting properly.

If their is any 'good' to come of of this case, it is the attention being drawn to the abuses of activist judiciaries.

Too many times we hear people complain about politicians; the real problem sits quietly out of the picture, issuing one dictatorial proclamation after another.
