The reason the 'lie' has been repeated so many times, it that it was true until people started to rasie crap about it. Sorry I did not read every post before replying, but these 'lies' were Apples fault in the first place.

That is not a valid argument. The apple ipod is not the only electronic device that did not have third party accessories available right away. There has to be a demand for them before someone is going to invest time and money into making them available. Often it takes a good year or more for third party products to become available to the consumer when a product comes out. ipod batteries have been available for some time now.
