I'm planning to get the PC version from Dell sometime soon. Not so much to store music as talking books. I've heard good things about the Dells.

There are other makers, as well. The i-pod has an enormous advertising budget, but it's not necessarily the best choice, unless you're an Apple fanatic.

I have a Dell DJ20. I love it. I have the Bible, LOTR, lots of Steven King, Suspence, X minus One, and a few hundred songs to boot. Every song that Rush and Pink FLoyd have produced as well. hehehehehe!

I'm a PC guy from the word go. I don't even like Apple, let alone the cult of Macintosh. However, after listening to the Ipod, the Dell Jukebox and the Creative Zen, the choice was clear. Neither the Dell or the Creative player approached the Ipod in sound quality.
