More AIDS, huh? Africa's so devastated already this hardly comes as news. And the new super AIDS bug discovered in the States makes these new retrovirus varieties seem utterly benign.

For the moment.

Once the homosexuals mix it up in their anal biowarfare labs, watch out!

Experts have cited poverty, drug addiction and limited access to health care. Thank God we have those experts out there. I never would have thunk this myself.
Although I think they left out the all important: Butt Piracy.

Its never about morals and personal responsibility. Hey, if its feels good, do it! Its all society's fault, y'know.

"The new survey also found that the lack of knowledge about a person's H.I.V. status was a bigger barrier to treatment than the lack of access to care." Pretty profound statement. Privacy (or embarrassment) should not trump eradication of disease.

Like its something to be proud of. Despite the billions spent on AIDS over the last two decades it hasn't been eradicated. And people are still getting sick to the point of dying. They just die more slowly nowadays and its out of sight and out of mind.

Maybe since there is so much AIDs in Africa, the reason that it has grown so much in the US black population is because of the percentage of Africans who have immigrated here during this time frame. Perhaps there is no real increased percentage in long-time black Americans. Due to the required political correctness, of course, even scientific studies have to be couched with some unknowable terms.

I'd wager it is due to a lack of condom use. (That's the whitey in me talking) Brothas don't do jimmys! (my south side)

There once was a man named McTavish
Who attempted an anthropoid ravish;
In his haste for the rape
He grabbed the wrong ape
And the anthropoid ravished McTavish!

I had heard that in some circles, it's chic to get the diseases. How wack is that?

Yes, I read the same thing myself. "Bug chasers" deliberately try to get infected with AIDS. Supposedly they do it for thrills and for the hope of becoming part of the brotherhood of the infected. Weird.

AIDS has probably been around since the beginning of mankind. The sexual revolution made it spread like wildfire through the gay bath houses.
