Why such initial negativity?

Because we are likely to have ZERO resistance to bacteria, funguses, and viruses from 32,000 years ago.

Like 'wipe out the entire Earth' vulnerability.

I'm not negative about it. We should reanimate more ancient bacilli, re-investigate old plague cemetaries, and play more with engineered disease bacteria. After all, it's science.
