Thanks for posting this USF.

Something about the story doesn't sound quite right.

It is interesting though to read about their blasphemy laws and how Christians are treated in Muslim countries.

What is it about the koran that prohibits it from being questioned, scrutinized or criticized? If it is truth and inspired as those that follow it claim, then shouldn't it be able to handle scrutiny?

Just wondering...

The Holy Bible says:

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
2 Timothy 4:3-4

LOL... If it were the truth, and the actual words of god as revealed to Muhammed as they claim, then yes, it should stand up to scrutiny and critque. So one has to question their motivations for not allowing that.

Oh well.. there's always great ex-Muslims like Ali Sina and Ibn Warraq that have come to their senses after taking a good look at the Quran and questioning it, and have written in depth of all the nonsense, contradictions and inaccuracies within it.

Allah should have hired them as proof readers. ;o)
