​ ​​​​Forsake The Troops started off as Citizens Against the Troops, an organization founded in the Summer of 2004. We currently have fifteen members in our organization, spanning all across this country. Our founder, and leader's name is Scott Vogel, who currently resides in Southern New Jersey. Our position is that as it stands currently, the compensation, benefit, and retirement packages that our active duty and retired military personnel get is outrageous, and undeserved. The American taxpayer is supporting the military enlistee, when said person made the decision to become a walking, talking target for Uncle Sam, and "Yuk Yuk" Bush. They made the choice to leech off of the American taxpayer, therefore we must do our part as taxpayers to recoup our funds, or at the very least stop this obscene abuse of our taxes.
Our intention is not to inspire, suggest, or joke about violence towards the military; rather, our goal is to eventually approach Congress about completely revamping the military pay structure. Despite common opinion, we are not a hate group, that we do not condone acts of violence, or any illegal acts towards military facilities or personnel.
A small girl scout troop could probably kick their sorry a$$es.

The "moonbat" will probably get enough people (sheeple) to follow him, declare his org. non-profit and collect a comfy salary for himself to run the organization.

I wonder if they're equally outraged at all the other public officials who receive government pension plans. Interesting that there's no mention of them in here.
And what's this about "retired military personnel" and the reference to "Yuk Yuk" Bush? (No, they're not a hate group). They must realize that not all the retired military personnel signed up when Bush was president.
There are some great comments in their guest book. One guy referred to them as "a pair of clown shoes".

Scott Vogel is the founder and leader of Forsake The Troops, formerly Citizens Against the Troops.
Scott, 32, who also supports the abolishment of the Freedom of Information Act, was born and raised in Southern New Jersey, graduating from Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing. Mr. Vogel resides on his isolated, secured compound within the woods of South Jersey.
Mr. Vogel has never served in the military, nor does he have any desire to. Furthermore, Mr. Vogel has a general detestment for any form of law enforcement or authority, though it should be stressed that he does not endorse, or desire to bring harm or harrassment to them. Mr. Vogel and FTT webmaster The Bringer of Truth are distant cousins.

The Bringer of Truth is the webmaster and lead moderator for the FTT website, and has been a member since the group's inception.
The Bringer of Truth is 29, and is currently dating Laurie Vogel, also a member, and sister of founder Scott Vogel.
The Bringer of Truth also attended Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey, and attended college in the area, as well. He has never served in the military.
The Bringer of Truth is opposed to all forms of the military and law enforcement.

I am not one to use cusswords on these boards, but this line is total, complete bullshit! (I'll understand, Mods if you yank this comment). These are people that obviously have never spent a single day in uniform, or have ANY idea of the sacrifies military members and their families make each and every single day so that these cretins can spout off about us being MOOCHERS!!! How DARE they?!

I don't even have to bring up the fact that national defense is one of the few charges of the federal government that is stated in the Constitution.
