Stevia should be the sweeter. In Japan....all diet drinks are sweetened with Stevia. (Here in the US...we're not allowed to buy these drinks from Japan) It is the safest sweeter in the world today. Its ALL NATURAL. No side effects whatsoever. Splenda has lots of side effects like aspertane.

I don't mind Diet Coke with Lime. Much better than the original. Diet Vanilla Coke is tolerable when really thirsty, but the Lime is better. I also drink flavored selzer.

Favorite diet sodas are the flavored sodas I get at Trader Joes: Hansen's Diet Sodas: Black Cherry, Kiwi Strawberry. I also like Diet Dr Pepper, but not the Cherry Vanilla version. Also great, but expensive, are the favored Smart Water: Watermelon, Strawberry Banana, etc. All other flavored still water makes me puke.

When I was in San Francisco a few years ago, I got some mountain berry selzer from Conestoga Waters. Best flavored selzer by far that I've tasted. Unfortunately, can't get it on the east coast.

I really liked Pepsi One. The reason it "failed to catch on" is that they didn't make enough of it.

I suspect Pepsi One costs more for them to make so they push the watery stuff. I've had to double check the Pepsi One bottle because it tastes so much like a sugar soda. I have a hard time buying it, the store is often sold out.
