God... I remember when 'The Gentle Giant'... Frank Howard played for the Senators. Still got his '68 Tops card.

While they'll preform the same as they did in Monteal, at least they've been reborn in the nation who invented the game. That's a victory in itself!

Yesterday, Curt Shilling wore Pats Linebacker Tedy Bruschi's jersey to practice to show support. (Tedy had a slight stroke Saturday).

Dang! That would tick me off something fierce, if somebody stole my jersey right after I had a stroke.

Yawn. Wake me when the team begins demanding more money, DC discovers it's been suckered, and the franchise moves to the Sun Belt.

The major leagues need to close down or move to AAA at least 4 teams in each league, the old Montreal franchise being one of them. This would have the effect of making the rest of the teams stronger and bring back some competition from the smaller market teams. I would love to see Kansas City, Pittsburgh, or Cincinatti being competitive again.
