Actually, he is amongst the forerunners. Unfortunately, he rarely grants interviews anymore because the topic usually turns toward his 'papabile' status. He is sick and tired of that. He supports the pope and continues to serve his church as a faithful servant of God.

The beauty of Cardinal Arinze is in his ability to clearly enunciate church teachings in English, which is not his native tongue. He is much loved by many catholics around the world.
