Today President Bush attends the swearing in ceremony of Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General. He also fills the long-standing vacancy at FDA. The President urged the Senate to give hs nominees for the Federal Bench up or down votes without delay to fill vancancies in the courts. President Bush also requested $82B more for Iraq, Afghan costs. Urged renewal of Patriot Act and congratulates Iraqi candidates.

There are also photos of Liz and Mary Cheney. Liz Cheney went back to work at the State Department after a year's leave of absence whil she was campaigning for her father's re-election as VP.

VP Cheney giving the keynote address at CPAC on the 17th (Thursday). Other speakers include George Allen and Karl Rove. Should be some good pictures from that get-together.
