I am absolutely livid after reading this article. There is a firm that advances money towards expected civil suit settlements. Instead of making it harder to file these suits, these "Money men" are making it easier. This is my first post so please forgive any errors. I had to share this. Hope I did it correctly.

Decent first post, but...... FR wants you to use the original title of the article.

BTW, this money is being used to allow them to attend the criminal trial of the shooting officer. The title you made up (see above) is a bit misleading...

I googled the LAWCASH firm and they "advance" money for any lawsuit accepted under their terms. Money is not just for travel to court (like in this article)but there is a video on their site that has a guy talking about buying christmas presents. They don't care what the money goes to. The outrageous frivolous lawsuits are bad enough, but once this firm deems you probably will get a settlement they "advance" you up to 100,000.00. I don't care about the interest rates. They lawyers get theirs, The "victims(?) get theirs (in advance)and as in this case the cop will probably get screwed.

They didn't have to borrow the money - they chose to do so. They didn't have to attend the criminal trial - they chose to do so.

The advance has nothing to do with the current trial. Please try to keep up..... ;>)

The "victims(?) get theirs (in advance)and as in this case the cop will probably get screwed.
