Castro never stepped down and handed over the reins of power. Pinochet did.

Pinochet should come out of retirement and become a diactator of Venezuela until they get their act together.

Where is Venezuela's Pinochet?

In Miami, enjoying a rum and coke at the Coral Gables Biltmore.

Dear Mr Boyd.

For years i have been logging on to your site every day and once again i must congratulate you for your courageous stance, and the inspiration you give to freedom loving people.

But on this one I must take exception to what was expressed by you.

Let's be clear, and once it for all set the record straight, even though is not politically correct, when it comes to Pinochet.

In 1973 Chile's political situation was even worse than the Venezuelan reality today, the country had practically been invaded by Cubans, and tens of thousands of Marxist terrorists.

General Pinochet saved Chile from a fate worse than Cuba's.
and one that Venezuela is rapidly approaching.

In order to achieve the Independence of Chile from Cuba and the international hoards of terrorists, the Chilean army had to declare war on them, and war is not pretty but sometimes extremely necessary.

Human rights abuses?? what about the terrorist abuses?? why is it that we forget what they have done and continue to do? I remember September 11 1973, when snipers aligned with the left, placed themselves on top of buildings and shot, soldiers and civilians alike.

I also remember Venezuelan politicians doing the same from a bridge in Caracas.

But neither the snipers in Chile or Venezuelan murderers are Human Right abusers only the decent and law abiding citizens trying to stop them.

The images are still fresh in my mind, how the communist brigades in Chile killed, kidnapped and disappeared anybody that dared voice an opinion contrary to the regime. But I guess those acts are not Human Right abuses because the harm is done only to freedom and democratic believers.

If a true Revolution happened today in Venezuela, and truly courageous men took arms against Chavez and his terrorists, and in the process some FARC terrorist, Cuban intelligence officer, and some of the thugs that surround Chavez, were killed, will that be considered Human Rights abuses? or simply Justice?

If Chavez' removal was achieved and after, some of his thugs and traitors on Cuban payroll continued to kill and hurt Venezuelan citizens, the elimination of this terrorists will it be considered Human Right abuses or simply justice??

One of the things that puzzle us the most is how a thug like Chavez can be supported by anyone, but we clearly see how the liberal world not only supports him but idolizes him, this is the same world that condemned General Pinochet, and made a hero of that vermin called Allende.
The same people that called General Pinochet a human rights abuser are the same people that call Chavez a "statesman" and the Venezuelan opposition criminals, the ones that call Anderson a "hero" of the revolution and you a "golpista", are the ones that accuse this country of violating Human rights and call Castro a democrat. Clearly we need to understand that unfortunately world opinion is managed sometimes by these people and the facts they portrait are not the true facts.
