Relatives of Slain N.J. Family of Four Speak Out for First Time in Washington, D.C. Press Conference

Relatives of the slain Armanious family of four will speak at their first press conference since the brutal murders on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at the National Press Club's Zenger Room in Washington, D.C. U.S. Copts Association president Michael Meunier will join the Armanious family's relatives in addressing the investigation's status and expressing the family's point of view on the horrific crime. The family will also address erroneous reports circulated by some national and foreign media outlets. The family will be joined by friends of the Coptic-American community, including representatives of NGOs and human rights organizations.

Ayman Garas, the brother of victim of Amal Garas, will speak alongside Garas' brother-in-law Emad Fahmy and uncles Emil, Gameel, and Milad Garas. The family members will also discuss the case with lawmakers and government officials during their visit to Washington. "We feel it is extremely important that the public hear the Armanious family members' side of the story and we are pleased to help them express their point of view on this disturbing crime," said Meunier

The swift boat guys had a press conference at the National Press club in may, 2004 that was mostly ignored. It was only the book and the tv ads that got their ideas across.

That is why I'm wishing this family, and these people, good luck. They are really going to need it. Some talk says the perp came and went back and forth from Egypt. The powers that be in NJ have already basically shut up.

Nobody buys robbery as a motive, and besides there was no forced entry.

Who knows what will happen. There are a lot of folks who've been killed by Muslim terrorists and the Authorities try and gloss over that. The Jewish kid killed on the Brooklyn bridge years ago; the people shot at LAX; the victims of the DC snipers.

Two imported killers, two home grown Muslime. In Jersey, perps unknown.

I think we can expect this to get far worse before it gets better.

When I hear someone, anyone, in a position of power say "we are fighting ISLAMOFACISM" rather than "terrorism" then I will feel we are making good progress. Until then, as much as I support W and the efforts we have made so far, I will continue to have my doubts. Obviously the war in Iraq and Afghanistan did NOTHING to keep this Jersey family safe.

And I say that as a Jersey mom, so you know where I am coming from.

The most logical scenario presented here (and I don't know where it came from) was that Mr. Armanious felt that the people who came to his house wanted to know more about Christianity. They were supposedly muzzie, and he knew them.
When he let them in, they slaugthered the whole family.

This fits like a hand in a glove because the muzzies can never be trusted, no matter what they say.

If this had been a crime against someone with an alternate lifestyle or a non-Christian minority, thus labeled as a HATE CRIME...it would have been all over the news. But sadly...a HATE CRIME against Christians doesn't rate the same, even if it was a minority group of Christians.
