MUNICH, Germany (AP) - U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton offered support Sunday for reforms to strengthen the United Nations, but also had a world of personal appreciation for U.N. chief Kofi Annan.

"I also thank him for giving my husband a new job," she said, smiling. Annan recently appointed former U.S. President Bill Clinton as a special U.N. envoy to countries hit by December's Indian Ocean tsunami.

Rodham Clinton was among a group of U.S. senators attending an annual security conference in Munich, where Annan was the keynote speaker Sunday.

She backed his call for an overhaul of the world body so it can more effectively tackle terrorism and other global threats. "I fully support the secretary-general's reform efforts and urge him to do even more."

I'm really, really bored with the "everybody loves Bill" crap.

Do leftist Americans REALLY love these two, or do they just like them as they did Kerry, because they think they can win elections for them?

Thinking, "And getting him the hell out of the house".

The 'Keep your face in the Media' game is never ending. Unfortunately, Madison Ave. figured out long ago that exposure, no matter how facile, dishonest and unpleasant, works as well in selling toilet bowl cleaner as for selling Politicians. A good reason to try to ignore stories like this.

Pee Wee Clinton got 43% of the vote in 1992 and 49% of the vote in 1996 . . . so I don't think the lefties like him any MORE.

Those mealy-mouthed perverts would gladly lie with the mangiest dog and put up with the fleas just to win. They have no morals, no plans, nothing to offer their country. Winning and power is everything to them.

Sure, agree all the way. It's just funny to me, they try so hard to make Billy seem like a beloved American figure to the cameras and the press, but one on one I've never met a dem who really LIKES him the way I've met dems who LOVED JFK and FDR, or reps who LOVED Reagan.

Do not forget this means the US under the UN - and a world tax on us - to 'take care of the poor of the world" and a ban on guns, etc...beware. Hitlery is a ONE WORLDER - with visions of being one of the Global rulers
