I have a suggestion for screening candidates: Tough-guy Al Franken vs. Jesse Ventura in no-holds-barred, 2 falls out 3 rassling match. I'd give Ventura 6 years in the U. S. Senate without a Republican challenge just to see him put a serious hurt on Franken. Any legislative body with Kerry, Kennedy, Boxer, Murray, Cantwell, etc. could survive one more clown like Jesse.
Problem is, Jesse talked like a libertarian/conservative, but governed like a liberal. No Thanks!
