KUDLOW: We got a couple of seconds before the break when you guys are all going to come back, but, Ann, I just want to give you first whack at this. Eason Jordan, top news executive at CNN--I mean, to me, this is absolutely incredible--this guy says at a big conference in Davos that the US military is deliberately targeting and assassinating American journalists. Huh? He still has a job, huh? You got a take on that?
Ms. COULTER: Would that it were so!
KUDLOW: Would what were so?
Ms. COULTER: That the American military were targeting journalists.
KUDLOW: Oh, no! Don't go there.
Ms. COULTER: No, but, I mean, he immediately--it was just an incredibly cowardly thing to do. He says it, he immediately backs down to--from the statement that it is official government policy to be targeting journalists to, `Oh, it's just a rumor I've heard' and it might just be a few random individuals about which he has no facts, so it's a story that's not only implausible but not particularly interesting to what he has backed down to. And I agree with you, he shouldn't have a job.
KUDLOW: Yeah, he shouldn't have a job. Anyway, we'll talk about whether he should have a job or not. I want the others to weigh in on this. Next up, more from our conservative panel who, as it turns out, aren't that happy with President Bush on the budget.

KUDLOW: All right, we're back with Ann Coulter, Steve Moore and John Fund.
Mr. FUND: Well, Larry, first I want to say one thing about Eason Jordan. Clearly he regretted what he has said but he hasn't given a full explanation which I think he owes everybody. One of the things I've noticed at Davos is, apparently, the Americans who go there, it's such an anti-American hate fest now, they apparently somersault over themselves to be politically correct in joining the America-bashing. I think Jordan fell in with that.
KUDLOW: I appreciate your point on Eason Jordan, John. I just-- where's CNN here? I haven't heard them. I mean, they haven't made any official statements. There's no inquiry going on. This strikes me as a very serious matter. CNN does not strike me as taking it seriously.
Mr. FUND: Barney Frank, who was on the panel with Eason Jordan at Davos when those comments were made, said this is what Jordan said. Now Jordan has retreated, but at the very least, he owes us an explanation. Where in the world did this come from? Does he just have delusions like this all the time?
KUDLOW: Right. That's a delusion.
KUDLOW: Ann Coulter, I want to go with you. I'm going to give you the last word on a completely different subject, but I know you have knowledge on it. General Wayne Downing, a retired four-star, former head of special ops, told this show Friday that basically the time had come for surgical strikes in Syria. Do you have a quick, concluding thought on that?
Ms. COULTER: Yes, they should do that right after targeting the journalists.

Well if I was a scientist working on human cloning, she would be one of the first. The ultimate WEAPON OF LIBERAL DESTRUCTION --- make about 1000 for each of San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. And air-drop them....hehehe.

Brit Hume just reported on the story and that others disagree that Jordan backed down AT Davos...He has now.
