Veterans For Human Rights license plates

The other day I was following a veteran. In his window he had a badge sticker if the Army group he belonged to. He also had a US flag sticker upside-down. When I looked at his veterans license plate, it said "Veterans For Human Rights". What the hell is going on!!!

I'd take down his license number and followup on him. He may not be a real vet. If he isn't, there are organizations who will expose him.

There are no restrictions on who can get this plate. Anyone can, even someone who is not a citizen.

Did I read the post wrong? Isn't he claiming (somewhere else on his car) that he's a former member of some military unit? If he's doing that, he's doing it elsewhere too.
That's what I was referring to.
