I have heard that there is a movement in Seattle to rename King County as "Martin Luther King County" because now it is named for the late Vice President {William?} King.

That actually happened a few years ago. To my knowledge it was a done deal.

I believe that it was already done that King County was "officially" renamed after MLK.
