"passed only after it was retooled to mention the fact he never won Minnesota and tax increases that occurred under his watch."
That is ridiculous. I guess from now on when we pay tribute to FDR we should mention court-stacking, executing German spies, devloping the nuclear bomb that killed tens of thousands (not a bad thing to me, but to them) and internment.

I think the next time JFK is honored in Minn. they just have to mention he started the Vietnam war and that he was shot while on a thinly-veiled campaign tour!

...which he lost by a mere 3,000 votes.

THE MINNEAPOLIS (RED) STAR
Fixed!

``not paralleled until the Clinton presidency,''
They had to get Clinton's name in there because they know that his "accomplishments" would never stand on their own. I don't see how getting a fat intern to do that to you qualifies as an accomplishment, anyway...

Sir Slickenstein lowered the bar for just about everything during his tenure in office.
It's not surprising that he continues to do so, even after he has departed from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Just out of curiousity, I thought the Republicans controlled the senate.....

Perhaps they were referring to the Minnesota State Senate??

BTW in the last 3 weeks of the campaign it was obvious that RR had it all locked up. Michael Reagan & Marueen were out on the campaign trail & called their dad asking to go to Minn. to ensure a victory there. RR told them no. His rational was NOT to rub it in so hard. That was Compassionate Conservativism. God bless this man over & over.

Seriously though, I understand your point.
The "Gipper" was one of the most magnanimous statesman-both in victory and defeat-that this country has ever seen.

Hmmmmm. Coincidence or not.
From AP - Minnesota officials warned that air in the Twin Cities was unhealthy for anyone Wednesday.
I think I know where the source of that bad air originates. It emanates from the orifices of the democrats in the legislature.
