I hope that was sarcasm. LGV occurs in heteros as well as homos. The incidence increases where there is promiscuity.

Lymphogranuloma venereum has been around for a long time. Back when sex was "normal", it's customary dwelling place was women's locker rooms. Since women have a natural inclination to share things, including towels, it sometimes managed to go through a whole locker room at a time.
The good thing: it's bacterial and readily treated with antibiotics. With today's "whatever" sex, I'm not surprised it has found a home in the gay community.
As with AIDS, bisexuals will spread it to everyone. Women will probably end up having the most serious cases. (No pun intended)
