A man labeled by Volusia County authorities as the West Coast Chopper serial robber is believed to be responsible for robbing three convenience stores Tuesday night, according to Local 6 News.
In each robbery, the man is wearing a black West Coast Chopper sweatshirt with a hood covering his face.
Besides allegedly robbing the three convenience stores Tuesday night, the same man is suspected of robbing several other stores in recent weeks.
Investigators believe he is targeting businesses in Holly Hill, Ormond Beach and outside county limits. The robber is also believed to be leaving the crimes in a taxi cab.

'West Coast Chopper' Serial Robber Strikes Again
The man has implied a gun in each robbery and leaves few clues at the scenes, Local 6 News reported.
"Generally, he will enter the store at a slack time and is very careful not to touch anything," Holly Hill police Cmdr. Mark Barker said. "Which has hamper us in terms of investigative leads because we have been unable to recover any forensic evidence at any of the scenes."
Investigators with multiple agencies met Wednesday to compare notes on the serial robber, Local 6 News reported.
Detectives suspect the man is supporting a drug habit because he appears to need cash desperately and quickly.
Another serial robber in the same area who is wanted for nine armed robberies is still on the loose.

This guy wants to be caught, and he wants to be charged with as many robberies as possible. Why wear the same shirt again and again? "Lookit me! Hey Lookie here!"
Sure, but he can never win.
How about this one...The "Fishing Hat Bandit" hit 23 banks before getting caught.
