For the Record: I read a FORBES (?) article a few years ago and they said that at the "top of the 90's bull-market" (in 2000) Gates was worth $150 Billion.

The article also added that the original Rockefeller still held the 'Richest Man in History' title. Old man Rockefeller was worth an estimated $250 Billion (a quarter of a Trillion dollars!) at his peak before Teddy Roosevelt began his 'Trust Busting' of Standard Oil, etc..

Yes, he is. But there are lots of multi-billionaries who aren't as committed as he is. How many of THEM are planning on giving away 90% of their fortunes to good causes?

None that I have heard of. In my book, that puts Mr. Gates in a league of his own.
