OSCAR-nominated actress SHOHREH AGHDASHLOO has courted controversy by declaring that "99 per cent" of the world's terrorists are Muslim.
THE HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG beauty, a native of Iran, is currently starring in KIEFER SUTHERLAND's hit TV show 24 as a part of a terrorist family, which has sparked ire among a large number of people who feel that the plot will increase anti-Islamic feeling.
But Aghdashloo believes the show will have no negative effect on the way the world views Muslims.
She says, "The truth of the matter is that although not all Muslims are terrorists, unfortunately, in today's world, most of the terrorists - 99 per cent - are Muslim."
She also believes that viewers should see it for what it is - fiction.
She adds, "It's purely fictional. It's genre, it's concept reminds one of IAN FLEMING's JAMES BOND, which was based on the Cold War. So our intelligent writers are inspired by their environment post-9/11. But it's not real.
Why is this a controversey? It's pretty much pure fact.
It's encouraging to see that even some Muslims get it.
When I watched it tonight..didnt see any of the PSA's run.

She's not bad looking either. :)
Let's pray she - and others involved in the show - don't get put on an "infidel" list...
Persian ladies are generally very attractive.
I heard that quote!
I think this is WAY too high. She's forgetting about the environmentalists and animal-rights wackos. The are ineffective, bumbling fools, but that doesn't mean they aren't terrorists.....
She will now need "24" hour protection.
Unless you are working your way down to eight significant digits the accurate percentage would be 100%. If you want all those decimal places then you can say 99.999999%.
Cathrine bell can be a good example
I'm sure everyone has seen the following at some point, but thought it deserved reposting:

So, to ensure the safety of our airlines from potential terrorists
intent on killing us, airport security screeners are not allowed to
profile certain people. They must conduct random searches
of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper
identification, secret agents who are members of the President's
security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and
Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave
Muslim males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because God knows
we certainly wouldn't want to engage in any sort of profiling that
might offend someone.
Am I the only one that thinks she's super hot?
She's striking in more ways than one!
The environuts are just common criminals for the most part, vandals, arsonists, trespassers. Bad as they are, they don't target people for murder in the vast majority of cases; and they don't attack whole communities and whole nations.
Case in point = Rudi Bakhtiar, anchorbabe on CNN Headline. What a looker!
