"We shouldnt underestimate the impact of what the Bush administration has been able to get away with..."
Why was Mr. No-Pants Clinton's 8 year long, scandal filled, corrupt, incompetent and sleazy administration hailed as wonderful and productive and only a Conservative two termer called a fascist?

Sorry, I had to point out that this was not my article. It was sent tome with no url and I wondered what all of you thought of it here.
I'm not trolling, don't worry. Perhaps I should have pointed that out in the comment box.

Precisely. History shows us that every gross violation of human rights, from European fascism back to the French reign of terror, has come from atheistic "reformers."

Summary of article:
"Although Bush may be a crazed religious lunatic dead set on destroying the world he's technically not a fascist.
Thanks, but no thanks.

Fascism or Nazism is Socialism, PERIOD!
They are the flip side of the same coin. Those who do not understand this are condemned to live under this despicable tyranny.

The author, like every liberal, does not know what the hell he is talking about.
Fascism, Socialism, and Communism are all different manifestations of state control over the economy. Fascism is best summed up by (allegedly) Mussolini's maxim "I don't care if I own it, I am going to control it." Fascism allows private ownership of business but regulates the businesses until they are no longer profitable. Then Socialism/Communism take over.
Currently America falls firmly under the Fascist label. We are no longer a capitalist country.

The threat of fascism is very real, but it comes from the left, not the right. All you have to do is look the WA state legislature's attempt to shove California style emission controls down the throats of WA state voters. The fascist coalition of leftist environmental interest and big oil is frightening.

I prefer to remain neutral about articles like these unless I have info from all sides. Makes for better arguments than approaching something like this with a self-rightious doctrinaire attitude.

Do you like what you read at "Socialist Worker Online" ??
The web site's name alone is an oxymoron. The old saying in the socialist world is "The government thinks we're working", and "We think they are paying us" or "Why work hard, it pays the same"
