I wish that were so. Unfortunately federal education and healthcare matching funds are paid for out of the federal budget. Any social security, housing, food and other payments are also paid for out of the federal budget. Everyone's income taxes foot these bills.

Really ? California is a conservative state ? We passed it and the black robes overturned the law.

this actually passed in Calif not long ago but was struck down by the courts as unconstitutional due to some of the wording and such but even here the majority of people voted for curbing some benefits and reporting illegals using emergency rooms etc......I think on this issue even many Dems don't like this crap

Good let them. I can only hope ALL the red states (Texas) will indeed pass this.
Ms. McKee recently announced that Protect Arizona Now has become Protect America Now, and will try to foster similar initiatives or state statutes throughout the nation.
