Yesterday, CSPAN I and II played the President's speech and the ANSWER "rally" simultaneously. It was very interesting and instructive to switch between the two. On the one hand you had the President setting forth what he stood for and what his vision is for the country and the world. On the other, you had a series of speakers who offered the crowd nothing but anger, derision and hate. No vision for the future, no clear idea of what they stand for; nothing but spite and hatred. The contrast was as clear as day. It would make an interesting campaign ad, if you ask me.
