DC Chapter mega-ping!
Please submit questions by Friday noon ET, the sooner the better.
Question: "Does it hurt? I mean, does it hurt to be so stupid?"
Brian's buddy, Preston Wood, assaulted me at his anti-war rally in Los Angeles. Preston Wood and his partner in crime, Jim Lafferty, are communists in peace drag, replete with high-heeled jackboots...Need pictures to prove it?
Someone needs to get a question through about this group's direct ties to marxist/communist parties across the globe. It couldn't hurt if they found that Hezbollah and other "palestinian rights" groups were supporting them as well.
Make them answer a direction question about this stuff.
Pinging some activists across the country and hoping that, if you have the chance, you will kindly submit questions for the leader of ANSWER by noon Friday ET.
Also, please ping any appropriate ping lists that you have.
Good idea. Care to formulate the question and submit it to the Post?
You'll be glad that you did. Even if it doesn't get through to the guy, the balance of questions submitted may affect what questions actually are passed through the moderator to Becker.
I am so tired I can not go to sleep.
Same with you?
I asked: "Why do you support communism, an ideology that is against personal freedom?"
My question, as submitted...
"Despite the abject failure of Marxist humanism, the massive poverty and genocide that follows it wherever it rears its ugly head, why do you advocate and support Marxist/Leninist regimes throughout the world?"
I don't need pictures to believe this.
To the amusement of police officers at various FReeps of the "peace" thugs, Dr. Raoul has said through the megaphone: In my time as an adult, the only times that I've been punched or challenged to a fight, it's been by a "peace" protestor. Go figure."
I love that line that you used "communists in peace drag."
Yep. Excited, over-tired, partly-watching C-Span & Fox, partly-surfing here at FR.
Wonderful question!
Sleepy BUMP!!
Night-night.
Pun intended...Preston Wood and many of his leftist comrades are homosexual fascists who are capable of any kind of evil to perpetuate their grand designs of a greater Islam and a world yoked by the proven evil of communism.
Mr. Pecker,
Boy you guys showed America how evil it is today. BTW: Loved the pink leopard print and the feather boa. I reluctantly concede the '08 election to you in advance (hoping for future leniency), since you guys have the jump on us in terms of fetal stem-cell research and sodomy, the product of which prodigies like Sen. Boxer have been sired.
Yours truly,
Erik, Seattle
ouch!...But I think the request was for a question, not an arrow...:)
"Mr. Becker, you appear to be approaching middle age. Why do you behave like an eighteen year old freshman?"
Me too. Went to the Los Angeles cANSWER slither tonight and have been watching the cspan coverage of the cANSWER rally from cspan.org for the last two hours.
I kept it low profile at the rally but I did approach a couple of reporters, one from Fox local affiliate, and reproached them for their silence regarding who and what this "anti-war" front really is and their links to the World Workers Party...the response from the Fox guy?..."I am not here to argue". I assured him I wasn't arguing, simply stating an objective fact. Evidently he was not there to report either, on the contrary, by omission he was there as an advocate of the front.

Why do you condemn war yet openly support violent terrorism?
Ask them "how will you respond when your side wins and they come to take you to reeducation camps for living a lifestyle that goes against the party doctrine?"
Please FRmail Constitution Day, TaxRelief OR Helms if you want to be added to or removed from this North Carolina ping list.
I actually sent 2 questions.....Why is it that your organization touts peaceful resolutions to war but engages in thuggery and juvenile behavior at rallies and protests? And why do you think capitulation and weakness is an effective tool to end oppression and strife?
I backed off of the obvious "Why are you people so damn stupid?" question and tried to rise above it all....Which reassures me that the questions will not be understood or even considered by Becker,or even the Washington Post or their ilk.In order to have productive discussion, there must be 2 avenues of communication, and that door has been nailed shut on the commie leftist side for quite some time,so I don't hold out much hope-but I tried.
Shouldn't you change the name of your organization to reflect its pro-war stance?
"Ramsey Clark sponsors ANSWER through his IAC, why couldn't you get Saddam's new lawyer to speak?"
I'll be on the road, submit that if you like it.
Great questions! You can submit them right now.
Question: Answer appeared on the national scene with the World Bank/IMF protests. Then it switched to the 2000 election. Then the war in Afghanistan, the war in IRAQ, then the 2004 election and now trying to spoil the inauguration.
It seems to me that the only way for your organization to survive is to keep switching causes and issues so as to keep your jobs? is that correct?
What are International ANSWER's plans once the United States has been defeated?
In my first one I asked him to deny or acknowledge ties between the Communist Party and ANSWER.Note, I didn't call him Commie Scum, but I still doubt he'll even see my questions.Secondly I asked, regardless to his response to question #1, its a known fact that ANSWER does receive funding FROM the Communist Party and how much is it, either percentage wise or in hard dollars.
My question:
Why did the Worker's World Party support the Tienanmen massacre?
Prior to Sep 14th 2001, they went by the IAC name.
Please explain your organization's silence during the 1998 DESERT FOX and AL Shifa bombings directed by President Clinton?
Done. I asked him why he described the event as "family friendly" on Wednesday's night's news, when everyone at the evnt used profanities, both orally and in their signs.
I asked if ANSWER ever protested Bubba Clinton's Kosovo quagmire.
It was at these protests I quickly discovered what a bunch of Commies they are!! I was pissed and told them so. The members were soliciting funds (from the people at the rally protesting the bombing of Serbia) and I told one of them, "I will NOT give this organization money as this was supposed to be a protest against the bombing in Serbia and you have some guy up there supporting Sadam Hussein and others supporting the cop-killer Mumia. I DO NOT support those people and will not support a group that does." and I left the protest, choosing to write letters and call in to radio and TV programs instead.
It reallypissed me off at the time. I had gone to a protest believig we would be protesting the bombing of Serbia..and while they did protest that, they also added all of the Commie support causes to the protest which diminished the purpose of the entire event, IMO. I remember A LOT of the people who came to pretest the bombing being quite upset by this.
"Do you believe that people across the world have an inalienable right to FREEDOM?
If no, why not?
If yes, good, but then please explain why your group supports Communist regimes and tyrannical governments?"
I asked if he wasn't embarrassed by only 500 to 1,000 supporters showing up when he stated 10,000. Asked when he was going to get a real job instead of being paid by Soros for his activism.
Here was my question:
A few years ago, ANSWER came out of nowhere and was suddenly able to afford offices in nice locations in both Washington, DC and New York City. You were also able to afford to put together a large number of protests on the mall. Usually, it takes a nonprofit organization a few years to get a good reputation so that people are willing to donate in large amounts. Your group's overnight rise to prominence is almost unprecedented--and very suspicious. Please explain exactly who is funding you. Are you taking funding from foreign states that are hostile to the U.S.?
Unfortunately the discussion must be postponed while we try and locate the guest. Please check back for an updated discussion time.
Dear me. It looks like they are having to delay the discussion while they try to find Mr. Becker. (I'm serious--check the Washington Post website.) Guess Becker should have told them he was going out back for a toke. Well, I hope he makes it back!
"...over 10,000 people gathered in the park and on the sidewalks there while thousands more never made it through security checkpoints..."
Ping....
Our contributors, if you mean our financial contributors, are all individuals who send donations. Our average donation is somewhere in the $20 to $25 range. We have no corporate sponsorship as you can imagine and little foundation support as well. It really is the hallmark of a classic grassroots movement in the sense that people who believe in what we believe in and wish us well send relatively small donations because they are, for the most part, not well to do people.
There are maybe 5,000 people in the entire country who "believe in what [they] believe in," i.e. are hardcore and conscious Stalinists. That accounts for about $125,000.
Now he's saying the antiwar strategy is the same as for Vietnam. (IOW, side with the enemy.)
