ED called Pelosi on it though. She repeated what Boxer said and commented again that Boxer called her a liar.

I got the feeling that the dems know they stepped in it because she danced over Boxer and changed the topic.

The VP looks really good on with Imus...I just flipped in as he's explaining reality to Imus. Mrs. Cheney is soooooo cool! She tells Imus it would be quite interesting for Imus to do a show replaying all the people who thought Saddam had wmd. . As for Cheney's "FU" statement to Patrick Leahy, Cheney told Imus that was one of his better received statements.

Cheney said Saddam had no stockpile, but he had the people, the technology, and he clearly had the intentions to go back in the wmd business.

Imus is asking serious questions, Cheney giving serious answers, this is very cool...and though he doesn't desserve it, this is quite a coup for Imus, getting the VP today.

Imus asked if Cheney was angry when Kerry mentioned his daughter, Cheney said, "yes". Imus asked Lynne if she was angry, and she said "yes". Their one word replies seemed to shock Imus, in fact Imus said he didn't expect them to answer that honestly.

Imus asked Cheney if he really looked for someone else to be Bush's VP, which got hearty laughs from both Cheneys.

I too get the feeling that the dems are regretting the Boxer comments. Bill O'Reilly was none too kind to Boxer last night.
