On the eve of President Bush's second inauguration, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is blasting him as the "fear factor" president who tries to sell his irresponsible agenda by scaring the voters."The fear factor has become the overriding strategic approach that this administration uses," Clinton complained to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The likely 2008 presidential candidate told the paper that Bush has used scare tactics to rally public support on issues ranging from U.S. policy in Iraq to privatization of Social Security.
On Iraq Clinton griped that Bush had even botched the election process, saying that regional balloting should have preceded any national referendum.
Social Security reform was impractical now, she said, because the massive deficits run up by the Bush administration have left the government unable to fund a transition to privatization.
The top Democrat also predicted that the GOP-controlled Congress will turn more conservative, saying, "I think that they have very radical ideas that they call reform."
Reacting to Clinton's comments, New York State GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik told the Democrat and Chronicle, "Before she mouths off, where are the 200,000 jobs she promised upstate?"
this coming from mrs. "The republicans are starving school kids" president?
what a hoot!
I'm so sick of being told how scared I am. It seems to me that the only people who are truely scared are the idiots on the left.
The only thing we have to fear is the "Beast" herself.
"Fear Factor?" Is like Dems telling granny to vote for a dem or they will lose their social security and be thrown down the stairs? Remember that Ad?
Oh Oh It's Starting!
She has people connected to her all over the place getting indicted and singing like canaries, and now she's trying to walk a fine line between the moonbat left and the DLC left.
So if you're a demwit and things aren't going right what do you do? Easy. What they've always done. Bash the president, let the moonbats fawn all over you for a few days, while you think of your next move.
Did Terry McNasty say that? I missed that golden comment!
How dumb."Fear Factor" is about overcoming ones fears. Geeez they can't even get a TV show right.
It is amazing seeing all the Democrats in full meltdown mode. John Kerry promising Condi Rice that he will not vote for her confirmation...Who cares? He is yesterday's news and nobody cares what he thinks or what he says. Barbara Boxer continues to dishonor her office and California. What a wacko-she actually speaks for most Democrats, but she is stupid enough to divulge it to the entire country. She has gone into history as a dishonest, hypocritical and anti-American elitist from California. She should go in front of Congress to apologize to President Bush, to the American people, including African Americans and Hispanics, to the US Armed Forces and above all to Californians; if she had any honor she should resign the office that she has soiled with her antics. Teddy Kennedy has, once again, showed his true colors. A bigot from Massachussets, a coward who escaped manslaughter conviction in Chappaquiddick, an alcoholic who has tarnished the office over and over throughout his strange career. Poor Massachussttes, having Gigolo Kerry and Killer Kennedy representing them...and now, carpetbagger Hillary Clinton piping in her two cents of hot air. Do not worry, New York will reject her if the GOP puts a half-way decent candidate to replace her in the Senate. Like MA, NY also is suffering from two out-of-the-maistream Democrats, Chucky Schumer and Hillary, who is also yesterday's news although she is trying her best to recapture that old criminal Clinton spirit. I do not feel sorry for the Dems, I am glad that they are self-destructing. And I hope that Howard Dean becomes DNC Chairman, then the meltdown will be complete.
Hopefully the wacko base will force her to move left.
What other woman would do this:
Her husband has an affair then she lies for him, defends him and helps with his legal defense! What a woman! My wife certainly wouldn't do that for me. SHeesh.
Like all of her speeches this one has been edited. This is what she really said:
"The, you know, fear, you know, factor, you know, has become, you know, the overriding, you know, strategic, you know, approach that, you know, this administration, you know uses,"
There, that's better. To know Hillary's true genius we need to see all of her words. You know?
You know, I thought there was something missing.
She might be the "whore of Babylon" astride the 'beast'.
"The top Democrat also predicted...
Oh Oh It's Starting!"
BINGO!! Get ready folks;p Bush's isn't into his 2nd term yet, and still...it's "START PROMOTING HILLARY" time.
Apparently, the theme of her 'candidacy' is going to be "Freedom from Fear...a Fresh Start" or something similar.
It will take somweone like Giuliani or COlin Powell to breakout in NYC and steal votes from Hillary to upend her. She loses votes in New York City to Giuliani or Powell then her brief reign in NY is over. Pataki might also do the trick. However, we do not need another weakling like Rick Lazio to oppose her. What about Peter King, can he knock her out?
Up until now, Hillary has generally been pretty silent thru all this, even on social security reform. Now it looks like she is shifting into demogogue mode.
But SHE is the one who PROMISED!
She must be minimized like this at every turn. I like the fact it was done from the GOP state level. I hope it was not by accident.
"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If 'Thou shalt not covet' and 'Thou shalt not steal' were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free...."
Defense of the American Constitutions, 1787 John Adams
Yep, best watch out for all those 'radical' ideas!
Not only that- she HELPS her husband cover up his RAPES!!! What a woman~!
Tax revenues are increasing faster than expected. The Bush tax cuts are revenue generators. Bigger, more massive tax cuts will provide the revenues needed to reform social security. And the eficit we enjoy today are in part due to the Clinton recession. As the job or tax base imploded so did revenues to the government. If she was a 'co-president' she should take the blame for the Clinton, deficit exploding, recession.
Oh, Hillary.... you are sooo....90's.
God, I do HATE the sound of her voice. Ugh. Reminds me of fingernails going down the blackboard.
God help us. Please, NOT Hillary!
Oh...Hillary...like eliminating school lunches, starving children and revoking prescription drugs for seniors along with cutting their social security?
Warning.............Head Bobbing alert..........
Seems the 2008 Dem primary season has begun a tad early. Hilldebeast blasts Bush for governing by fear; Kerry casts one of two negative votes against Condi as Sec of State. I suppose Dean will find a basic right of all Americans to go to Disney World gratis and Kucinich will throw his hat in the ring for the next Wizard of Oz.
That is a mental pic I did NOT need.
This is the thanks Bush gets for giving her severely depressed husband something to do these days?
We can't be nice to these people.
sw
I, for one, have not forgottent the "health care crisis" that we could solve with a complex govt program paid for by taxing cigarettes, booze, etc...all the town hall meetings, pandering, etc....
Aha-a-a-a! But what is 'her husband' covering up for her??? I am always reminded of the comment of my lesbian former neighbor who met the Hildebeast at a White House reception and later described Ms-s-s-s Roddaamm Clinton as 'a bit too-o-o personal.....' Where are the tabloids when one needs them??

Hillary is in bed with Barb Boxer. They are cursing the Democrat Party together as witches.
