When i hear Free Republic's Canadian chapter its funny is what im saying. Why would freerepublic need a canadian chapter via the web? Unless Canadians cant access the normal freerepublic.com - the last time i checked they could.

Canadian FReepers decided they needed their own venue. We quickly outgrew the space at Freerepublicnetwork.org so we decided to establish a Canadian conservative presence. In January of 2001, Free Dominion was born. Calling it "Free Republic.ca" wouldn't have the required "Canadian" caché. I'm the guy that suggested Free Dominion.

The first day here must have been about 15 of us. By the end of the month, we'd hit 500. Today we're almost 5000 strong, and growing.

Let the RCMP see what they can ferret out and maybe serve extradition papers here in the states so that the miscreants spend a little time in a Crown Prison before they find out that they return to the states as convicted felons an will forever be on the FBI watch list as terrorists.

It looks like FD is down until tomorrow morning, but ccurrie is backing us up so the ASSholes that pulled this off will have silenced rational thought for a night.
