As much as I hate to admit this, I think that bastard is correct, in his assessment of the situation.

I tend to doubt that the feckless, Liberal-dominated government in Ontario will do anything to prevent this contemptible violation of the principle of free expression from occurring again.

Unfortunately, Canada does not have even a rough approximation of America's Bill of Rights.

Free Dominion is under attack again and is down. They are changing our passwords as they go. Our tech dude is on it, but we don't know how long it will take.

This is really pathetic. Nothing like taking our freedom of speech away to make a point. Who ever is doing this should be charged.

The server was down for an IP change, and now the DNS servers have no record, so none of our cookies work. There is a new IP address for the server, but that hasn't propagated down to all the DNS servers. So if you try FD from the new address, you still can't post, because the site redirects to the old address! What a friggin' hassle!

Connie and Ent² ought to sue their web hosts! Sue everybody!

It's annoying, alright-- I tried every trick I know from board crashes & slowdowns here, but nothing worked. Although I see from the time & date stamps on the page I could pull up that some people seemed to get on OK and post and reply. It's funny how you get a lost feeling when you can't read stuff from people you have never met in person, but know electronically.

Someone gets in to FD and defaces it and sends everyone on the mailing list mail and you go and make a huge slag fest aimed at this guy after banning him and you dont think he/she/them are reading this site right now? Cmon people,they waltzed right in like nobody's business and made their point.Try logging on to free dominion.ca right now and see what I mean.The petty insults aimed at the attackers are just going to get you and FD attacked more.
