Violence flares briefly at anti-terrorism event [Pro-Terror Crowd Attacks Jews]

A Berkeley rally against terrorism that featured a bombed Israeli bus turned briefly violent Sunday when angry counter demonstrators carrying Palestinian flags marched into the mostly pro-Israel crowd.

Riot police quickly separated combatants, some of whom came to blows, during the afternoon event organized by the Israeli Action Committee of the East Bay. Police cited one man on a charge of misdemeanor battery.

Shouldn't we make something good out of this? I mean, can't we have a "win/win" situation? They want to become martyrs, and I'm sure the Berkeley police need some range time. Seems to me both could be accomplished with a minimum of effort. Throw in a few slaughtered pigs, make a nice mass grave, and call it a party!

Maybe I am just an old fashioned guy, riddled with the vestiges of racism and superiority imbued only on the privileged (or some-such newspeak progressive rot) but if I see Muslims driving around my town saying "we are martyrs, we can't wait", I am going to try to oblige them.

There is a fundamental question that all Americans have to ask themselves these days: How far will we let things go before we fight back?

Jewish students coming out of worship services have been pelted with eggs and subjected to epithets, Oleon said. Last week someone threw a cinder block through the front windows and wrote "F-- Jews" in black marker on the Jewish Hillel cultural center's recycling bins. Some Jewish students believe that Berkeley professors, even those who are Jewish, have unfairly come down hard on Israel in lectures.

I watched a Berkeley police officer cross the street and invite the Palestinians into the rally. That is definitely how it appeared to me. The police helped them across the street and then stood by and watched as the crazed bunch invaded the anti terror group. When I asked them why they allowed that, the officer just gave me a stony look and ignored me. The cops facilitated the problems and I called to complain. I'm sure that will help...

I guess they hate Jews in Bersekeley. And the haters include the leftwing nutcase suicidal Jews who stood side by side with the enemy.

The local news didn't use the term "anti-terror" rally, which is how it was billed. That would put them in the awkward position of making the case that the counter demonstraters are pro-terror. We can't have that.
