Washington -- Twenty-two gay and lesbian rights groups, smarting in the aftermath of the November election and bracing for President Bush's second inaugural, issued a unity statement Wednesday insisting they are not backing off marriage equality but will simultaneously push for other "common priorities."
These include hate crimes legislation, employment protection, immigration rights for gays and lesbian partners, overturning the ban on gays in the military and continuing battle against constitutional bans on same-sex marriage in states and Congress.

Perkins said gay activists "realize that their initiatives are out of sync with the American people, so they're going to try to put a different spin on their approach." Wow, a smart leftist.

EXCERPT:
Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, said lesbians and gays face as many as 15 new state constitutional amendments, as well as a renewed push for an amendment in the U.S. Constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
An effort last year failed to get even a Senate majority, though it requires two-thirds approval, but advocates say they'll renew their effort. Religious conservatives said the Federal Marriage Amendment remains a priority.
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, a conservative group leading the fight against same-sex marriage, said, "I certainly would agree with their assessment that not all is lost for them. That's why it remains critical to get an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. They are certainly holding out great hopes that it is just a matter of time before a federal judge overturns a state constitutional amendment or the federal Defense of Marriage Act."
Perkins said gay activists "realize that their initiatives are out of sync with the American people, so they're going to try to put a different spin on their approach."
15 new amendments! WHICH STATES!
Also notice how homosexuals are still using the same old lies about inheritance and property. All easily done with standard, cheep, and easly obtained forms. The pink swastika is recomended reading in this battle. It is as if the homosexual advocate groups are following Hitler's game plane to the letter. (down to the GSA clubs in school being the equal of the Brownshirt feeding ground of homo-predators under the eyes fo the parents.)

When are they going to figure out they are not going to take over the majority will of the people -- but the leftist fringe elements usually don't think beyond SELF so we can say, they pretty much think the world revolves around their life style.
Once the MSM figues out and acknowledges they are going down the tubes, this kind of fringe-pandering will stop.

The problem is that the homosexuals are setting themselves up as cultural elites all the time. (see bravo's queer eye for the cuckhold guy) Nothing new, but we have to change the playing field by eliminating this "orientation" BS.
WE need to get more agressive about pushing the developmental aspects of the homosexual behavior. This includes pushing a SECULAR cure argument. (no religion) As this article points out, the homosexuals are spining all oposition to homosexuals as mere religious fanatics.
Pushing the debate back into "sexual orientation", "sexual fetich" and ultimatly "recreational sex choice" cuts the legs out from their movement.

Hey! Maybe they could get one of their own appointed to a position in the RNC! Maybe like a "Co-Chairman" position?
You know, just a foot in the door!

Anyone wondering how long before the pederasts (they are very busy in Thialand and Indonesia right now) decide to organize and declare themselves victims of "sexual profiling"
because of their "sexual orientation"? You can lay money ont it!

I don't personally have anything against gay people, but I absolutely despise with every fiber of my being their political agenda.

I could care less what someone does with their private life, but I don't want to hear about it and be told it's my fault they aren't "accepted" by society.

" Are you saying Mehlman is a faggot?"
No. I know nothing about Mr. Mehlman's sexual orientation. Do you? However, I do know that he seems to be determined to provide "another door" for our "friend", Ann
Stone (Remember her?....the trouble-maker at the Houston GOP Convention?) by appointing her friend, Joann Davidson to the position of "Co-Chairman of the RNC". If the people won't elect them.......appoint them! Who's running this party, anyway?

Anybody who opposes hate crime laws is accused of being a hater. It should be regarded as opposition to tyranny by a a "vocal and enterprising minority" (aka.. a bunch of lying, tyrranical, power grabbing jackasses)

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
So they think the problem is PR. I've read that some homo-activists think they haven't been open and honest enough, while others want to start carrying Bibles and pose for "family" style photos with little smiling kids.
Either way, more or different spin is just lipstick on a pig.
Personally, I vote for the more honest and open approach, with more photos of hairy men in wedding gowns carrying Bibles and wearing multi color feather boas. That's just the ticket to convince all us knuckle dragging homophobes to vote "yes" on "gay" marriage referenda.
Let me and DirtyHarryY2K know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

"The pink swastika is recommended reading in this battle."
You are absolutely right. Someone recommended this a few days ago. I read the whole book online It is a fascinating read - informative to say the least.
If I could find who it was that recommended it, I would like to thank them.

I find most interesting how the Nazis used outrageous lies constantly. They played the public like a fiddle. Reminds me greatly of how the liberals today use the race card. Their treatment of Condoleezza Rice showed me their true colors on this issue like never before.

These gay dopes helped keep GW in the White House by their pushing so hard on gay marriage. Gay marriage would be rejected even in Massachusetts on a referendum. The Massachusetts Supreme court voted for it. Not the people of Massachusetts

"so they're going to try to put a different spin on their approach"
So instead of being up-front about it, now they're going to lie about their true intentions, with a nod and a wink at their compatriots...
